Point of View Questions

In my current novel, I switch back and forth between the POV of my main character and her love interest. At the moment, I have the main character narrating in first person and her love interest narrating in third person. My question is this. Would it be acceptable to have the love interest speak in first person as well, when I switch POV? I've had a terrible time getting into his head and I think it would help to have him narrate in first person, but I don't want it to cause confusion.

Thank you so much for considering my question!

Answer: It would be perfectly acceptable to use first person narration for both POV characters.

Just make sure each character's voice is distinct so that it is clear to the reader who is addressing them.

Best of luck.
