Question: Thank you Glen once more for all the details about the software of Dramatica and what it actually does.

I see two of the programs for sale, the first is $199.99 Write Brothers Dramatica Pro Win/Mac and the other is the same but says Pro 4...I will start with the books first and if you could tell me which one that beginners use, I will probably buy it. So if once more you could answer my questions, I'm getting more advanced in my writing and keeping in mind that I still have to have some sort of structure, with all of your help, I'm actually doing it! I love my book and your advice is priceless, thank you so very much!

Answer: As far as I know, there are no books on dramatica aimed at beginners. The main Dramatica book presents the theory in full, but it's not as practical a tool as most beginners want, and it is mainly aimed at screenwriters. Dramatica for Screenwriters is more practical, but it is written for people who already understand the theory and have the software up and running.

I should point out that the software comes with a complete ebook copy of the Dramatica book, and also a comic book designed to be an introduction.

There also is a simpler (and less expensive) version of the software called Writers Dreamkit. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the main program, but it has all most people need, and it also comes with the theory ebook and comic book.
